There are different methods in involving students in the learning process including peer feedback. This method provides students with the opportunity to evaluate, comment, critique, and praise their peer’s work. Although there are many papers and research articles on peer feedback and peer editing, few were done on what actually learners want the feedback to be focused on. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the EFL student’s perceptions regarding the focus of the feedback they received from peers. Data were collected from 64 university English language majors. A questionnaire which focused on peer feedback in written form was distributed to the subjects. Students writing samples were also analyzed to further investigate their interest. The results reveal whether the learners have special interest in receiving feedback on mechanic or on the cohesion and coherence of the text. This study offers further insight into the kind of feedback students give and receive from their peers in a writing class.
